Our betting expert Jones Knows provides his insight as he looks forward to Super Sunday and is tipping Arsenal to beat Manchester City.

Brentford vs Tottenham, Sunday 2pm, live on Sky Sports

If you had dangled 21/10 odds my way at the start of the season for Tottenham to beat Brentford we’d be in bet of the season territory. But much water has gone under that bridge in the last five months for Spurs. They are that price for a reason now.

I’m starting to lose a bit of faith in Ange Postecoglou and his methods. Yes, there are mass injuries of course, but they’ve lost 18 of their last 30 Premier League games – only Wolves of all ever-present teams have lost more in that period. That team selected last week should have been able to win against Leicester.

And I’m worried for Spurs again here – this is a nightmare game for them for two reasons: it’s away from home where they’ve lost 11 of their last 16 Premier League games and they will be tasked with breaking down a low block and they don’t come more resolute and organised than Brentford’s block at home.

Spurs have become a very one-dimensional side with the ball. The Evens with Sky Bet for a home win is going to tempt many in.

SCORE PREDICTION: 3-2

Manchester United vs Crystal Palace, Sunday 2pm

When you think of Manchester United’s long-standing struggles in the final third and throw in Eberechi Eze being missing for Crystal Palace, those that like playing the under goals lines could be in clover here where Evens is available on the under 2.5 line.

But a better bet than that revolves around backing the 0-0 correct score at the break with 2/1 with Sky Bet on offer.

United have failed to score in the first half in nine of their last 10 matches. And if you stretch it back further, they haven’t scored a first-half goal in 18 of their last 23 matches in all competitions.

SCORE PREDICTION: 0-0

Arsenal vs Manchester City, Sunday 4.30pm, live on Sky Sports

Man City managed to make Club Brugge forward Christos Tzolis look like the hottest prospect in world football in midweek as their woes out of possession were exposed once again in the Champions League. There’s got to be a big chance of Arsenal running riot in the midfield area just like many have done before them this season.

My eyes have been drawn to Arsenal’s price to be winning at half-time. The Gunners have been starting games at home very fast of late and City might be vulnerable.

They have won a combined 10 corners in the first 10 minutes of their last three home matches, signifying their intent and they went in at the break ahead in all three of those games against Tottenham, Aston Villa and Dinamo Zagreb.

There’s reason to have hope for a slow start from City too. They conceded after two minutes vs Chelsea last weekend whilst Liverpool scored their opener after 12 minutes when City went to Anfield and Villa opened the scoring after 16 minutes at Villa Park.

SCORE PREDICTION: 3-1

Chelsea vs West Ham, Monday 8pm, live on Sky Sports

Chelsea are very hard to fancy when assessing their odds of 1/3 with Sky Bet. They’ve won just one of their last seven Premier League games and were so poor in the second half at Manchester City, where their habit of allowing games to drift isn’t exactly helping to convince that Enzo Maresca is the right man for the long-term.

He has an unfortunate habit of making his team worse with the substitutions and in-game tweaks he makes.

If you flip that, former Chelsea boss Graham Potter is one of the best around at doing that and West Ham under Potter are on the improve in terms of implementing his philosophy. They were unlucky not to leave Villa Park with maximum points last weekend. They look a bet to avoid defeat here on the double chance at 9/4 with Sky Bet.

SCORE PREDICTION: 1-1
